The land of U.P.

Not so very long ago Heidi and Ginny traveled a great distance by plane and car to the the Upper Peninsula in Wisconsin and Michigan. There they reunited with Heidi's family for a vacation.

John and Emily were the guides. They have resided in U.P. with their boys since the summer began. They took us camping and lake hopping.
They soon found the land to be plentiful with many beautiful and intriguing creations.
deersnakes
rocks
frogs
waterfalls
spiders
mosquitoes
wild raspberries
loons
Some new friends were acquired.
Each day was spent in multiple ways either
bouncing
hiking
canoeing
swimming
digging

Heidi and Ginny came to recognize
the versatility of inner tubeshow fun it is to have boy cousinsthe power of sistersthe joy of being together!

Is Ginny a thumb sucker!? I love the picture of her in the tube and the one of your Mom and her on the rock beach. You've inspired me to go back to the lake states and see them again in the summmer. I've only been when its 12 degrees outside :)
