Answer!

YES!!!

Well, this last Thursday started like any other day. Heidi woke up and got ready for school. In the mean time I decided to make up for the vacancy on the bed and cuddled up with Gerrit. When Heidi left for school she already wasn't feeling great but we thought it was just signs of things that were to come in the future. Well, I guess she was in a lot more pain than she could handle at school so she decided to come home early. This is already very peculiar because Heidi doesn't come home early from school for pretty much anything.
I knew something was going on so I stu
ck with Heid as much as I could. If she got on the bed, I was right next to her. If she took a bath, I made sure nothing happened to her. I could tell she wasn't feeling normal but she was being tough and staying relaxed. Well after a couple hours of Heidi acting very strange and squating and working through these pains throughout the house it was time. Gerrit took a shower and they left. The strange thing is, they never said goodbye to me so something big was going on. Well, I waited patiently, or as patiently as I know how at the house, but as soon as Luke showed up at around 12:30 I ran right out to the car and tried to see what was going on... They weren't there though! I was so confused and pretty worried about my Gerrit and Heidi. Luke told me some big changes were coming but I was just hoping that meant that I was going to get steaks for dinner from now on.
I made it through the night with my own bed and when Gerrit showed up in the morning I was SOOOO excited to see him. I wanted to know exactly
where he'd been so I sniffed his clothes with much vigor and had no idea what I was smelling. That was when he broke the news to me.

On March 26, 2009 at 6:35 pm Ginny Tabea Booge
rt was born. She came in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 in. long. She is the sweetest little girl.Heidi and Gerrit showed up at the hospital at around 4:30 pm and when the first nurse checked to see how dialated she was she was blown away that she was a 7 already. It took the doctor another 45 min. to get into the room and after he finally checked she was at a 9 3/4 . It is all history from there. Gerrit says that Heidi was just incredible and that she did it with no drugs whatsoever. I freak out whenever someone even steps on my tail or when Gerrit grabs me by my neck skin because I've been naughty. From what I hear Gerrit and Heidi are a pretty amazing duo when it comes to birther and partner. Gerrit does the things he learned in hypnobirthing to help Heidi and she just stays calm and works through the pain.

Well, I guess I should get to bed. It's my last night alone on the bed before they come home in the morning and who knows what will happen then. I'm very excited to see Ginny and her Mom tomorrow. I'm so excited, it's like Christmas all over again.

How wonderful! What a sweet, precious little newborn she looks like. It sounds like you went into labor and then delivered that very day at 6:30pm- is that right? If it's true, do you know how lucky you are??? :) You're awesome.

She is so sweet, congrats you guys. I am so glad I get to meet her and see you in May!
