The best way to go sledding is to gradually hike up a mountain for at least 40 minutes before sliding down.

It wasn't gas. . .

Gerrit was worried that he would walk into the ER only to be diagnosed with a bad case of gas.  Fortunately (or unfortunately) it was his appendix. 

Watching Ginny learn to write seems as exciting as hearing her say her first words.

Thanksgiving

Vanden was very proud to have 5 olives on his fingers.

We were all surprised when Vanden put all 5 olives into his mouth at once.
